ide's Issues

A question about IDE

IDEmodel <- IDE(f = z ~ lon + lat,

        data = STObj3,
        dt = as.difftime(1, units = "days"),
        grid_size =41)

#Error in make.unique(row.names(sp)) : 'names'must be a character vector

how to fix the check Error in checkForRemoteErrors(val) in fit.IDE()

Hi, andrewzm
I have a problem when I use the fit.IDE() command to train the model. the R occurs the error----" error in checkForRemoteErrors(val) : one node produced an error: error in evaluating the argument 'x' in selecting a method for function 't': chol(x) is undefined: 'x' is not positive definite."
I guess maybe my data set has a problem, but I'm not sure. and I don't how to fix this.
so, could you tell me how to fix

Error in simIDE

I've successfully loaded the IDE library, but am now getting the following error when trying to simulate a process:

SIM1 <- simIDE(T = 10, nobs = 100, k_spat_invariant = 1)
Error in Diagonal(r) : could not find function "Diagonal"

Can IDE model deal with irregular geostatistical data ?

Dear all,
I have a spatio-temporal data set of 24-year human schistosomiasis prevalence at the village level, and the number of sample village are different in each year (which can be seen as geostatistical data), that is, some villages are surveyed each year while some villages are not. I would like to investigate dynamic pattern of the disease over my study area. It seems that IDE function only deal with spatiotemporal data with complete spatial coverage. Any response will be appreciated!
Best
steven

diffusion rate

Excuse me, I have meet a question about diffusion rate
Can I calculate the rate of diffusion according to the parameters? Is there any formula
Thank you in advance!

how to display the shape of a region

Hi, sorry to bother you. I have a question about ploting. when drawing a prediction graph by results from fitting IDE model ,how to display the shape of a region instead of a rectangular region.

Error with predict() function

When trying to run the predict() function, following the tutorial in the Spatio-Temporal Statistics with R book, I get the following error:

ST_grid_df <- predict(fit_results_sim1$IDEmodel)
Error in distR_C(x1, x2) : could not find function "distR_C"

I'm guessing this function is missing internally? I couldn't find another library that contained it.

Thanks,
Fernando
