Same for me in macOS, cloned the repo and ran
docker-compose -f docker-compose-standalone.yml up -d

The logs say:

  --syncmode "fast"            Blockchain sync mode ("fast", "full", or "light")
  --ethstats value             Reporting URL of a ethstats service (nodename:secret@host:port)
