Yesterday someone on the Timberborn Discord server asked for the old ZoomOutCamera mod, as this mod does not provide the same zoom out capability.

I looked into the issue, and indeed it does not provide it (correctly).

Issue:

There is a slider to change the zoom limit, which changes the default zoom limit.

There however are more zoom limits, which the game chooses from:

• free zoom limit, this is applied when the camera is unlocked (done by console).
• map editor zoom limit, ofc applied in the map editor, and this is like a huge zoom limit.
• relaxed zoom limit, applies when GUI is hidden, or when camera is unlocked via the settings.
• default zoom limit, applies in all other cases.

Fix-Suggestion:

I do not know much about the free or the map editor zoom limit.

But the relaxed zoom level has to be tweaked by this mod too, it would probably sufficient to keep it synced with the default zoom limit and the CameraTweaker setting. That way there is no jumping between zoom levels when hiding the GUI.

Old mod behavior:

By applying that fix this new mod would make ZoomOutCamera completely obsolete - as it should be, as that is no longer being maintained.

And apparently the unlocked camera had a higher zoom out limit than the locked one.
One could instead provide two sliders, or just keep both zoom limits the same as I suggested.
