very nice script and super cool. thanks for publishing it. I have two points I'd like to bring up.

1. In your readme, both keybindings are named close_tab
2. I'd like to see this entire keybinding section in the script so it's kind of 'batteries included'. Maybe add it to tabline config or something so that it defaults to enabled but people can easily see how to change it if they want to.

either way, this is excellent work. :)

one last tip. some of these ansi escape sequences are available as words/terms so you could do something like "ansi word" just to be more clear of what's going on. you can see these with ansi --list.

it's control, ctrl is invalid, FYI
