Former rocket scientist, current software engineer. I obtained my formal education in aerospace engineering, but transitioned into the world of technology and programming! Through my graduate studies, I found my passion of programming. And after much reflection, I've decided that I wanted to further pursue this career.
There's so much to learn and I can't wait to get started!
I can be reached via my email at [email protected]
- 💻 I'm currently working on some personal projects
- 📝 I'm learning about all things programming!
- 🧐 Looking to help with an open-source project!
- ⚡️ Fun-Fact: I have hiked 9 mountains 🏔
- 🙌🏽 Goal of 2023: release an "official" version of my homelab
I always get asked about my past rolees as an aerospace engineer, since it's such a unique skillset. If you're curious, well here's what I previously did when I was in the aerospace field:
- Lead maintenance and tooling for multi-billion dollar Trident D5 II Navy contract
- Performed R&D on high power Hall Effect Thrusters (HETs), a.k.a. ion engines
- Designed an carbon-graphite ion beam dump to lower vacuum chamber erosion
- Aided research at The University of Michigan's Plasmadynamics and Electric Propulsion Laboratory (PEPL)
- Created a small embedded system for digital aquisition (DAQ) for laboratory purposes
