stumbled just accidentally over this issue.
Having a look into any endgame book makes clear what features should be fulfilled when reaching the endgame phase. Besides pawns the number of majors/minors is important!

I modified function test1 and use command "on" to force move to computer auto move chess from position of Lev Alburt, here is 1 position from the Lev Alburt:

max depth =6, it's running normal but cannot end game. If i set max depth higher, sometime it's crash. Someone can't help this problem ?

a 2nd thing I tried on Kitteneitor was perft but I got a broken output?!
Having a look into source I was aware of wrong (broken) unsigned long specifiers.
I corrected them, and perft runs smoothly now. :-)

First, thanks a lot for you engine, i'm using it for my game, it's so wonderful and easy to use. But it's have some problems. When king is checked, no move to avoid ,engine has no method to check it. I saw the method isEndGame but it's so simply to check number of chess on board. So can you give me some solutions or suggest , thanks :)
