This error also occurs when creating a basic Flutter app by running flutter create and flutter run, as well as when running the Wonderous app (https://github.com/gskinnerTeam/flutter-wonderous-app.git) with these versions and this Flutter doctor:

I was able to reproduce using the fullscreen add-to-app sample app. Flutter appears to still work as intended, minus the warning spew.

One caveat: pod init does not work on iOS projects created using Xcode 16 beta (see CocoaPods/CocoaPods#12456). As a result, you currently can't follow our add-to-app Setup iOS project instructions using Xcode 16 beta. You can workaround this by using Xcode 15 to create your project. I opened this issue to track this: #153402
