Cannot input letters into dtmf dial about tonedef HOT 4 CLOSED

That's a good point. It's using the Android default phone input, which of course has no idea about A/B/C/D tones, so you can't input the letters, and it filters them out as illegal characters in the input field...

I may have to simply revert to the full keyboard... though that leaves a bad taste in my mouth, without writing a custom keyboard (which I don't really have time for), I don't see there being any alternative.

I'll see what my options are. Poking at this today, so it's on my list.

I have used your app for our proof of concept app and thats exactly what I did, just changed it to normal text input. I do agree that its not a great solution. Though.

This issue seems to be quite old, but not solved yet. I suggest to simply change the inputtype to text and with that close this issue. Do you agree?
