In v2.2.0-rc6, HA restarts are prone to the following situations. Restarting HA is enough about icloud3 HOT 3 CLOSED

I've seen this too and have debug' code running on my system to try to catch the error. I think it is done type of running issue getting back device days from iCloud web services. I've restarted ha a zillion times to try to catch it but o it always works. I'll probably just add error checking and Terry code on the next few days.

At version V2.2.0-RC5, no error was reported in the log, but icloud3 stopped to get the location. At that time, Timestamp also stopped updating. Then I tried to run the icloud3_restart service, and got an error, which seemed to be the same in my memory. When the previous version included 2.1, I have reported no errors for many times, and I felt that icloud3_restart service was basically invalid when problems occurred. Could you improve this service? I hope this service will be useful in any circumstances, so as to avoid restarting HA.

The iCloud3 Release Candidate has been updated and can be downloaded here. See the Change Log-Release Candidates a list of the items that were addressed in this Release Candidate.

The first item below is an important change that corrects the iOS App sensor monitoring function that generates the zone enter/exit and location change triggers which were not being detected after the iOS App and HA were updated.

The only programs that were updated are:

• device_tracker.py
• icloud3-event-log-card.js

I just uploaded it. As it turns out, a change to the iOS App and HA broke the trigger monitoring function in iC3. I found it yesterday while out running errands without iC3 loaded and the zone enter/exit and other triggers started coming in. 

I'm closing this issue. If you continue to have problems after RC7, please open another issue.
