Pre requisites

Docker installation. Install from https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/

Setup Instructions

These assume unix commands ie Ubuntu/Mac. For windows users, might need to substitute with relevant commands. These are run in the terminal.

cd into your projects directory.
Clone this repo git clone https://github.com/Geo-Hub/geoportal.git
cd into the newly created folder cd geoportal
Copy .env.sample file into .env with cp .env.sample .env
Update the values in the .env to your liking.
Run docker compose up --build
Load the webserver from http://localhost:8002

create an interface for updating user details like payments

For the map colours to change there is need for change of the amount users have paid. Currently these changes are made directly in the admin or in the DB for them to change.

Make counties layer load on opening the map page

Currently when you go to https://geohub-geoportal.herokuapp.com/data/ only the base map initially loads. The user needs to be prompted with some direction as to go about navigating the data. Plus the map should initially load the Kiambu County base map

add labels to map elements

Currently the map layers load without any labels of any. The parcels should load with parcel numbers
