I really need to mention that a lot of common coding patterns can be done elegantly once you are familiar with Rust and its philosophy. It gives you the confidence that your code will handle most of the corner cases safely, correctly, and efficiently during deployment. Therefore, you can focus more on your core system design. So building things with Rust can indeed save you quite some time 🧐
I love this language and I hope to witness its prosperity!

I think Rust will definitely be a milestone in the evolution of programming languages. There are quite a lot of problems solved elegantly in Rust.
True, it's not perfect and hard to learn, and it has been improving its ergonomics all the times. There remains many more problems to be solved in future languages (Graydon Hoare's take on "What next?"). But before that, Rust is a nice language and will be (I believe) the go-to one for the systems guys in several decades.
