Fails to launch with Big Sur 11.7.10 recent nrlquaker/winbox-mac installed with brew about winbox-mac HOT 10 OPEN

1.- Erased /Users/XXXXX/Library/Application Support/com.mikrotik.winbox

When you say you erased this, do you mean you deleted the contents of the folder, or the folder and its contents? This error tends to happen when a WINE prefix fails to be created. Please ensure that if you are attempting to destroy the WINE prefix that you will need to remove the entire folder, and not just its contents.

Deleted whole com.mikrotik.winbox folder from /Users/XXXXX/Library/Application Support/

past nrlquaker/winbox-mac/ cast worked without issues

Couple things then:

1. Can you verify that you have a fresh WINE prefix now at ~/Library/Application Support/com.mikrotik.winbox?
2. Can you ensure that the quarantine extended attribute is not set on the app bundle? xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Winbox-mac.app

Hi!

1.- Verified that com.mikrotik.winbox folder didnt exist
2.- Opened winbox-mac.app
3.- jumping icon on dock and wine box showing "The wine configuration in /Users/XXXX/Library/Application
4.- Support/com.mikrotik.winbox is being updated.
5.- Winbox doesnt start
6.- in terminal i executed sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Winbox-mac.app
7.- Same result, jumping icon on dock and Winbox doesnt start

I started using Winbox4Mac.app https://joshaven.com/Winbox4Mac-3.21.tgz and its able to run, but I have resizing screen issues with that app

And i had it on BigSur.

upgraded to OSX Monterrey, did brew update and brew upgrade and Winbox started working again
