After spending a ton of time digging into this. I found where the TPS really takes a hit. The issue is where the plugin starts looking for a path in chunks that are unloaded. When that happens it starts to open chunks on the server and that can drop the TPS rate. I have been looking for a way to determine if a chunk has been generated to avoid going into that area, but that might also stop the path from being found between two locations when a chuck is missing.
