I left this comment on Steam detailing my issue:
"This looks amazing! I'm excited to use it, but so far I either can't generate a world or I load a world that has only one settlement in it. I'm new to this, so maybe I'm missing something. I've been playing with my load order to make it work to no avail. Any help i appreciated! Thank you."

I either cannot generate a world or it loads in with a single settlement and no factions. Not sure what's causing this, would appreciate the help.

Bottom Line Up Front
Can you add an option in the settings to disable certain special effects or raid types? If necrons could be disabled, or at least forced to drop pod / walk in like every other faction then this mod conflict could be completely mitigated.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Be using this other mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2222907981&searchtext=rimthreaded
2. Get the deep strike event where necrons spawn in with green lightning
3. experience total CTD because lightning effects can't be run as parallel
