Single-file implementations of 2D and 3D acoustic and elastic wave propagation in time domain using finite-differences(FDTD). Simple formulation and implementation
I have try this code by 200x300 grid with dx=10 dz=20, I found it have a really heavy reflec wave. I have tried to adjust the abs_rate and dt parameters, but it still bad.
I quote the 2D acoustic simulation that within 0.5282 seconds the wavefront has moved about 150 m from the source. It means that the velocity is about 283 m/s, which is very different from the given vp = 3300.0 m/s.
This issue happens for all examples.
