@doutriaux1 pinging you here - I think @dnadeau4 needs some guidance about releasing CMOR3

Would it be possible to add something about checking the milestones attached to issues to this list? In #49, I asked whether it would be possible to ensure that issues are added to the correct milestone, so that it was possible to determine which releases contain specific fixes. For example, there are 14 open issues that currently belong to the 2.9.3 milestone, but since CMOR 2.9.3 has already been released, the fixes for those issues won't be part of the 2.9.3 release, so they shouldn't belong to the 2.9.3 milestone.
