Hey thanks for getting back to me!
40 characters should be enough to capture an ipv6 address as it is. In my case, where I have multiple upstream web servers (nginx reverse proxy and CloudFlare), I think each of the IP addresses of the upstream servers gets appended to the X-Real-IP header. Separating these out via commas and returning the first IP address (as in 4c31fd5) seems like the ideal fix
from projectsend.
