Check Database Configuration: Go to pgClinet.js, and ensure that the databse configs match your local database settings.
- Install Dependencies: To install the necessary dependencies, run the following command in your terminal:
npm install
Before running the application, you need to set up your database with initial data.
- Seed the Database: This step will create a new database and populate it with the data provided in the assignment folder. Run the following command:
npm run seed
After setting up the database, you can run the project to see it in action.
- Execute the Main Script: To start the project and test its functionalities, execute the following command:
npm run main
This will initiate the main script as defined in your package.json
file, allowing you to interact with the project as intended.
