Is there any reason we require exact package versions in setup.py? Would >= version work?

Not sure whether this related to the numpy version (mine is 1.24).
However, order = None fails since inside numpy it will try to do upper().

I suggest to set default order to 'C' unless we have decided to change everything into 'F'ortran ordering

I suggest Apache 2.0.

The latest version of meshio in the pip3 install is 5.3.4 which doesn't support meshin.cells["hexahedron"] anymore.

I've tested that meshio=3.0.0 still works.

The existing behavior was based on a Matlab script, but is unintuitive for Python. (I think it has something to do with Matlab using F ordering.) The order of the arguments should also by Sx, Sy, Sz rather than Sz, Sy, Sx to match the standard mathematical notation $S_x \otimes S_y \otimes S_z$
