vfo-standards-support's Issues

Refactor CSS?

The HTML pages currently reference a remote style sheet from the W3C, an external style sheet, and internal styles in the <head>. Seems like it could be simplified.

Update the readme

It needs to explain the purpose of the project, to point to the different places where support for HTML, CSS, and ARIA are documented, and to clearly indicate what is required when filing an issue.

Need logos

Currently all the pages show the HTML5 logo. We need the ARIA, SVG, and CSS, logos for each of the relevant pages.

Create support tables

We need to create and/or tidy up the support table pages for HTML, CSS, and ARIA. Each table should include:

  • Thing to be tested (element, role, property etc.);
  • Link to test case;
  • Jaws/ZoomText keyboard commands;
  • Support (Y/N etc.);
  • Related issues;
  • Notes.

Handling different browser results?

I've made some changes to the ARIA file. In doing so, it ocurred to me that we need to find a way to present results from different browsers. Possible options:

  • Multiple tables (one for each browser) on each page;
  • Multiple pages (one for each browser);
  • Multiple columns in a single table/page.

Thoughts?

Code cruft?

When I was working on aria.html I noticed that the row headers in the original ARIA roles table have tabindex="0" and id attributes set. Is either being used? If not, would be good to clean up the code in this (and the other tables pages).

Qualifying support

What determines whether a feature is supported? Or perhaps a better question is, how do we factor browser variations into the supported state of a feature?
