www-client/firefox doesn't compile with clang/musl about overlay HOT 3 CLOSED

The specific snippet of code: ${virtx_cmd} ./mach build --verbose || die

The flags I change in my .env file are

CC="gcc" CXX="g++" AR="ar" NM="nm" RANLIB="ranlib"

Which again allows the package to compile. I have tried using both lld and mold when compiling with Clang. Maybe it is just specific to my system?

Is clang the system toolchain, e. g. using stage3 from https://github.com/2b57/toolchain-clang ?
Build might fail because dependencies are compiled with gcc.

yes I was running a different profile though from here - https://github.com/clang-musl-overlay/clang-musl-overlay system built with GCC then switched over to full clang
