Convert TCP PostGIS connection to UNIX socket about lizmap-plugin HOT 6 CLOSED

Hum.. This seems to me a bit complicated to deal with this inside Lizmap. Have you considered using PostGreSQL services ? http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.1/static/libpq-pgservice.html
I have not looked deeply at it, but it seems you could use the same service name locally and in the server, with different parameters ?

I was thinking of something very simple, just an option to replace all TCP connection strings to PG with strings socket ones, when saving the project for the server.

What about using pg services to achieve this ? Would this be feasible ?

I think encouraging users to use services. e.g. in the documenttion, is the right way to go.
