Hi Renata,
if you can see the layers on your desktop, you should be able to see them on the server too. Just check that in pg_hba.conf you have the right to access the db from both.

Hi Paolo,
it's an 'ALL-IN-ONE' installation where everything is on the same Debian PC (from DB to browser), so I don't think there's something between DB and Lizmap but something in Lizmap configuration... unfortunately I'm not enough good with this SW... :-(
(between us: e sfortunatamente non siamo arrivati a parlare di postgresql durante il tuo corso ad Udine).
What can I check now?
Thank you! :-)

Hi! Could you help me? I'm trying everything: DB in on, apache supports php, in .qsg.cfg file I can see my postgis layers, in Lizmap plugin I don't see anything strange, but... in Lizmap project there's only the layer coming from a shape file I have in the same dir...
What can I check to understand what's going wrong?
Thanks!

Hi, some questions:

  • do you store the password in QGIS for your postgresql connection ? To check, open the project file in a text editor and search for "dbname" then have a look at the "user" and "password" parameters of the datasource. QGIS server needs a full access to the database : you can store the password in the QGIS project (by allowing QGIS to store the password when creating/editing your PG connection) OR you can use PostGreSQL services
  • Have you tried to open your QGIS server WMS service inside a blank QGIS project, to see if QGIS, as a WMS client, can get all the layers ? You could also check in your browser in the "developper tools" the content returned by the server for the request GetCapabilities, and see if your PG layers are found in the returned XML or not.
