@disitec it hooks in yes, would be better if there were a method after filling and saving the parent model

Maybe something like this that optionally uses the json as a temporary structure
Then passes the user callback to the saved listener (NOT TESTED)

public function saveRows($callback)
{
    $this->fillUsing(function ($request, $model, $attribute, $requestAttribute) use ($callback) {

        $rows = collect(json_decode($request[$requestAttribute]));

        if($this->noJsonColumn)
        {
            unset($request[$requestAttribute]);
            
            $model->fill($request->all());    
        }
        
        $model::saved(function($model) use($callback, $rows) {
            $callback($model, $rows);
        });
    });

    return $this;
}
