Webdriverexception: Failed to locator opened application window with appID about robotframework-zoomba HOT 8 CLOSED

A few pieces of information to help me look into this issue:

1. Could you give me a copy of your test code? The simplest version that causes an error right now.
2. In the sample code you give could you tell me what line this fails on with the full error message?
3. You said that it was working fine a couple months before, what version of Zoomba were you using at that time? Have you recently upgraded?
4. What would help the most would be a copy of your log.html file generated by robotframework. If you are not comfortable posting that publicly you can email it to [email protected]

@msrb1984 Understandable, any of the other requests you can answer there? I need more information in order to investigate this.

@Wolfe1: Failure is on step "OPEN APPLICATION ${REMOTE_URL} platformName=Windows deviceName=Windows app=${APP}"
and I have 2.7.8 version before and now upgraded to latest 2.8.5. I have tested against both versions. It is throwing me the same error. I'm also suspecting that our application might be causing the problem. I have asked dev team to look into it.

@msrb1984 If launching the app is an issue you could try launching the application some other way and then just attaching to the running process with Switch Application by Name

@Wolfe1 : Thank you. Will try to use AutoIT module to launch and use zoomba to continue. Is it possible to swtich by attributes like "ClassName"?
