Can you give me more details? Are you using cocoapods or a git clone? Are you running it in the simulator?
Did you import UIApplication+SimulatorRemoteNotifications.h in your delegate?
Did you call [application listenForRemoteNotifications]; in application:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions ?

Note that now the git repository (not cocoapods) includes a Mac app to send the mock requests. You can use it instead of issuing the command by hand in the terminal (and is less error-prone). Clone the git repository, then Build and run the iOS Simulator Notification target and tell me if that works.
