I do not understand what you wrote. If the image is 1024x1024, what is "the cropped version of the full-size image"? This depends on whatever the user selects and what you define in the plugin.
Your description is underspecified.

sorry, i was in a hurry and didn't make myself clear. what i want to do is basically use your plugin to crop the original image, not it's scaled-down version. for example, if the original image is 1024x768px and the instance of cropbox is 300x300px, the resulting image will be 300x300x, whereas i want to get 768x768px version to retain maximum quality. hope this helps.
