No, I haven't any spaces in the path of the current directory.
But I reproduced the error when gps is started in a read only directory.

Hello,

This exception seems to happen when the cross-references database (i.e: the gnatinspect.db file present in your object's directory) can't be written.

We plan to get rid of this database in the coming year so I am closing that issue, since the workaround is acceptable IMO (i.e: not work on a read-only directory).
