Is that a Restructured Text directive?
The table of contents in landslide is built from slide breaks. We are not using ReST specific commands.
The ToC generated by rendering samples/example seems to work fine.

Yes it is a restructured text directive that asks to put a TOC inside the text width depth 1 (the depth is relative to the place of the directive).
The text of the TOC is generated well but the links are pointing to slides that do not exist, for example:
file:///home/jf/swap/presentation.html#second-slide
I have also some troubles with the TOC generated to navigate into the presentation (maybe relative to this problem ?).

If you test the example I gave above, you will see that the landslide toc (hitting "t" to make appear the toc) is not usable. I think that the ..contents
breaks something somewhere because the links are #id1 and #id2 instead of #slide1 and #slide2.

We do not support the RST Table of Contents directive at this time. Our RST support is just for simple markup.
Maybe in a later version. Thanks
