Need to close after click on an item (onepager) about slimmenu HOT 3 CLOSED

I use smoothScrool together with slimmmenu.
smoothScroll trace my navigation clickEvent.

With this code I have solved our problem:
$('nav a').smoothScroll();
$('nav a').click(function(event) {
event.preventDefault();
var link = this;
$.smoothScroll({
scrollTarget: link.hash
});
if ( $(window).width() < 1001 ) $('#navigation').css('display', 'none');
});

(1001 is my resizeWidth)

I have a page template that uses slimmenu and would also like to close the menu on click - but I don't have any javascript experience. Could you please tell me if I'm using the correct smoothscroll (https://github.com/cferdinandi/smooth-scroll) and where to put the code to close the menu after click?
