Cloning all fields from field group that has repeater. Won't save repeater values. about acf HOT 5 OPEN

Just experienced this same issue.
It only seems to happen when the Clone field has the same name than the Repeater field.
When I changed the name of the Clone field to something else it worked fine.'

The same issue happens with flexible fields.

Changing the clone field name so it no longer matches the flexible field it references solves the issue.

Thanks for your patience, I have had a very busy start to the year.

I just performed some testing with this setup but had no issues saving values. I wonder if there is another variable at play that was preventing the values from saving.

It may be possible that another field with the same name existed, or another plugin was interfering with the save_post functionality.

Can you please setup a fresh WP site, install ACF PRO and test the issue you have described? If you can replicate this on a fresh site, please let me know and be sure to include an export of the 2 field groups (.json) so I may test your exact setup.

Also, the issue seems to only happen to me at the base level. If the clone field is in a group or repeater it the issue doesn't occur.
