Hey @biagionicp,

in your sample the Item class cannot be saved into redis as a model since it doesn't have any @Attribute field.
Thus it leads to a call to HMSET in redis with an empty hash which is invalid since HMSET expect at least one entry (key + value). I think that the error has nothing to do with Hibernate nor the fact that your id field is named mId.

The id field is stored in the name of the key (Item:1) and not into the hash that's why the number of field for that hash is 0.

However, I did read the following Jedis issue while searching for your problem, and I may modify the way the id + del + hmset is being done almost transactionnaly in the save method.

But please first retry by adding an additional field to your Item example.
