Hi Jasper,

The csv_product_import import profile is based on the csv_product_import job definition. To import XML, you will need to define a new reader and declare a new job definition. Then you can create a import profile with your new job to import XML files.

The documentation covers especially this case (XML reader):

Hi @BitOne ,
I actually tried to use any file, doesn't matter if it's an xml or csv file. The point I wanted to make is that in the latest version 1.1 of Akeneo the formatting of the -c flag is not consistent with how it's explained when ./app/console akeneo:batch:job --help. The formatting of the JSON array is different, because the "reader" key in the configuration array does not seem to be taken into account. At least that's what I though when I wast testing this feature earlier. I suppose the problem is occuring in the setConfiguration method.

Hi @jasperdcbe,

Sorry I didn't get your first issue. Indeed, some modifications has been done on the configuration format. So the help message is certainly wrong. I'm reopening the issue.

Thanks for reporting it !
