Declaration of a struct with dynamic elements is not supported by all compliers about jansson HOT 6 CLOSED

Do you have a specific compiler in mind that has this issue? Others have not had this problem. The initialization syntax is standard ANSI C, so your compiler may be severely broken.

There are also other struct initializations like this. See json_true(), json_false() and json_null() in value.c.

This was the only line tripping up my compiler. I'm using the Keil IDE for ARM.

What's the exact error message you're getting? The difference between the json_loads() code and those in value.c is that this is the only one where a stack allocated struct is being intialized. The other cases have a static global value.
