@cweiske, can you please provide config and data (or small subset of it) you are getting this error with?

I got the problem with the default configuration (didn't change anything at all). When clicking the "save" button, an URL is called that begins as follows:

http://ontowiki.bogo/exconf/conf?name=navigation&config=%7B%22enabled%22%3Atrue%.....

This URL is 8.5 kiB large, which is larger than the default 8kiB URL length allowed by apache.
