question about live mode about alpaca-backtrader-api HOT 8 CLOSED

Hi,
each execution has its own data. there's no caching.
but we do a backfill which means, we try to get all the required data with a single api call at the beginning of the execution

So when you switch it to live, it technically runs a backtest before making a live trade? I ask because it doesn't print any of the print statements from a backtest.
