I'm not opposed to it. I'd just like an easy path for people to store secrets securely. Feel free to submit a pull request of what this might look like.

Cool. i'm thinking Passw3rd or dotenv. If you know of any other solutions that people might want to use, please suggest. I'll take a shot.

Using dotenv, which is a more sane default than passw3rd.
