Solving this by registering a "flow" name which states what has triggered the re-compilation. In case of a component's change, the flow can be something like "component:{name-of-component}", allowing Alumna to skip re-compilation of all the other non-changed components.

In the end, no custom flow were necessary. The recompilation avoidance was concluded by removing the component internal reference as soon as it is updated by the developer.
This way, simply calling the recompilation of this component will work through the existing compiling code (it will not be skipped).
