@daz10000 , you are more familiar with it, would it make sense to not model this as an operator which might require changing of syntax but rather as an "std" function? if i remember correctly, there are semantics for function calls.

Operator is much more user friendly and probably not so hard to add to grammar so Iād go that route. Happy to help with pointers. Think about where expressions are needed. E.g. inside pragma values and/or as higher level variable definitions.

@daz10000 , thanks. Started sketching a StringExpression that is similar to IntExpression in the grammar and i have a plan for how it would look like as a top level let binding.
However, i am not entirely sure about the pragma part. How it should look like in the gsl source, could you give an example, please?
