I have but I'm still not getting it.
I run the script first time; it generates some settings files. Run it a second time, it installs the service. Reboot and service has started.
However, I don't know what the default state is. Are any options set by default (other than in the behaviours file)?
In your write up you talk about how you have set up your instance although it is not clear what settings you have used - it would be useful to know.
If I run Monitor again (and get an interactive output) with an option flag, is this a separate instance of Monitor or is it interacting with the service? If I set a flag and then exit from the interactive session, is that flag retained? I then found the -u flag. What I'm not clear on is, if I set an option flag with -u, is that persistent?
If so, where is that stored and how can I find what the current options set are?
I think it would be good if the behaviours file had all the possible options included in it so they can be set other than by using flags.
[edit] - Happy to contribute some 'getting started' type documentation from my experiences. Sometime difficult to do when you know it inside out 😄 .

I just installed and had the same question as 'borpin'. I'll follow this thread for that.
For the record this is pretty damn slick, I've been looking for this functionality for a while. Strapping beacons to everything wasn't realistic for me, and there wasn't any one program that just addressed the phone BLE like this. Thank you Andrew for sharing.

Added a 'getting started' section to the Readme. Let me know if this helps. I'll be adding more detail to this section as time goes on.

Have you reviewed the helpfile with the -h
flag? Does that answer your questions?
