👍 Don't know of any good bitmap generator that's good for Mac.

It looks like it would be very easy to add support to output a .fnt file like you have shown - that format is very similar to the formats that it already writes.
I see no reason why you wouldn't be able to build fontbuilder on mac - the source is all cross-platform C++ Qt code.
