Are you referring to the following line?

yeah ... bower yelled at me complaining about dependency conflict with sails.io.js, which i added to bower separately, i resolved to whatever sails.io.js was at latest. Not sure it's that line, but bower seemed to have picket that hash up as the version ... or maybe i'm just confused.

We had discovered a bug in sails.io.js, tried to do a pull request, but it was ignored, so we switched over to our own fork. There might be unexpected behavior as a result. We should look into standardizing somehow.

Looks like sails.io.js has been updated to 0.11.x, and mikermcneil said he has worked on this when doing upgrade balderdashy/sails.io.js#31 (comment).
Can you please check if it fixes the problem and upgrade bower dependency to 0.11.x? Also can we change angular dependency to 1.3.x?

Thanks for the comments guy, and the PR andyhu. A new version of ARS is now available as v1.1.0 that is compatible with Sails 0.11 (and also uses a non-forked version of sails.io.js).
