I'm not sure we'd like to widden the API surface for this. What you are looking is already achievable via the FormBuilder.group
that accepts a FormControlState
.
Talked a bit with @dylhunn, this change widden the API surface but adds little to no value as we have 2 alternative : FormBuilder
and calling disable()
.

Do you mean that you can set individual controls with FormControlState
or that you can create new group with FormBuilder.group
and give a FormControlState
to it somehow? I can't find from documentation (FormBuilder), how it would accept setting disabled state in the latter case.
