Does it emit hooks or events so that I can for instance perform post-upload operations on the server?

No it doesn't as of now. But it could be a nice addition to the project.

Would it just be a matter of intercepting and inspecting the response object before return $response->send();?

You can use middleware for that.

Also, how is the performance of this library? Do you know if there have been any issues related to that?

We haven't got any reports related to that and assume that the library is working fine in most of the real world use cases.

@ankitpokhrel can you give an example (or just an idea) of how one could run a piece of code after a successful upload using a middleware (or something else)?

For me it seems like a middleware would not be the right place to do it.
