Read material and section id from CDB? about pymapdl HOT 3 CLOSED

I'm glad you were able to make use of the code. I added the necessary changes to the code, and it was a quick fix since those fields were just skipped over. The material properties and section id for each element are now within the raw dictionary as keys 'mtype' and 'sec_id'.

mtype = archive.raw['mtype'] # material properties
sec_id = archive.raw['sec_id'] # section id

Please let me know if you do add to the code in a separate branch or in local files as I'm always looking to improve this module.

sorry for not coming back to you sooner... I first had to figure out how to define a test setup which imports the build configuration.

Yes, your change works as expected. Thank you.

With respect to the additional coding, this will likely be a long term process on our side. Here, we are planning to define a semi-automatic tool for load calculation adn application on complex calculation models based on the mesh and further input parameters.

If I feel like having something which might be good for this lib, I will let you know.
