An update regarding manifest v3:

Manifest v3 invalids the method I am using to enforce mobile/Edge user agents. I have not yet found a new way in v3 to achieve this. The current development of the v3 extension has all the functionality except that it cannot complete mobile or Edge search.

The current support timeline for manifest v2 is under review. The original end of support was in June this year but it seems Google decided to push it back. I hope I will have more time to work on the problem soon.
