Hello,
Personally, I would prefer to adopt the term crop to describe an experiment deployed in the Hive to collect data in the wild.

Hi,
Better indeed. But crop or harvest? Crop is what you grow, while harvest is what you pick. I guess that when collecting data in the wild the correct metaphor is more that of harvest than crop.
Just my $.02
Cheers,
Lionel.

Interesting. To be honest we are using both crop
or collect
in our work. We decided to used crop
as much as possible few months ago but we can easily find collect
more or less everywhere (doc, servers etc.)
Some clean up might be needed :)

I was rather in favour of crop as it sounds catchy and short enough, from a research marketing point of view :)
We can always claim that "APISENSE collects your data seeds in the wild".
