Thanks, that's very helpful. I spent some time playing around with this and can reproduce it but didn't have any luck finding any logs or figuring out what was causing that behavior. The release notes for Brave 1.52.129 say:

Upgraded Chromium to 114.0.5735.198. (#31309) (Changelog for 114.0.5735.198)

And when I run regular Chrome (which is also on Chromium 114.0.5735.198) the extension continues to work as expected for me. Given that, and given that this works on the first load of Brave, my best guess is this is a Brave bug and hopefully a subsequent release fixes it

Still works perfectly for me, with javascript both enabled or disabled. Can you provide some clear reproduction steps?

Hm... Strange, have to reload it manually after every browser launch (Brave Browser, v1.52.126129). Same in private mode with no other extensions enabled.

Shows no errors collected, so it doesn't just crashes, I assume.

1. Launch Brave browser
2. Open ft.com
3. Select any article
4. Get redirected to the "Subscribe..." page

Now

1. Open brave://extensions
2. Press the reload button under Free FT extension
3. Reload that "Subscribe.." FT page
4. The full article appears
5. (Seems to work until I close the browser)

Can only note that it's been there for a while already (wasn't introduced with the latest version but probably around a month ago). So, it seems, this bug is going to stay with us for quite some time :)
