How can i update side menu elements? about ios-slide-menu HOT 4 CLOSED

those methods don't get called because the UINavigationController triggers those, and the menu is added directly into the main UIWindow.
I've been working on implementing NSNotifications, that might be included in the next version.

For now you could possible use viewWillLayoutSubviews and some other flags to determine when the menu is being open.

Or subclass SlideNavigationController, and override prepareMenuForReveal method. It gets called multiple times so you need to have a flag set

thank you for your help, actually i added a NSNotifications in open and close methods, and in my side-menu controller implement de listener to fire updates in the controller and works pretty fine :)
