Setting a specific package is not supported, assertion classes are generated in the same package as their "domain" classes.
Removing the signature from the signed jars should solve the problem (if you can).

I've just changed the generated assertion to the impl
and perform a type casting as the following: -
@RunWith(Arquillian.class)
public class MyServiceImplTester {
@Test
public void whenEnsureService() {
MyResponse response = service.doSomething();
MyResponseImpl resImpl = (MyResponseImpl) response;
Assertions.assertThat(resImpl).hasStatus(0);
Assertions.assertThat(resImpl).hasMessage("Success");
}
}
It works properly as well.
